Language is a system of conventional spoken, manual, or written symbols by means of which human beings, as members of social group and participants in it’s culture, express themselves. Language is the principal method of human communication, consisting of words used in a structured of writing , speech etc.
Based on this background, SMAIT Al Haraki as a formal education unit organizes FUNTASTIC activity (To Understand English Natively Effectively) in semester 1 year of academic 2022-2023. This activity is carried out to equip SMAIT Al Haraki students in getting used to hear and speak directly with native English speakers. What makes the difference this year is that there have been more SMALKI students so that the activities will be divided into level 10,level 11 and level 12.
Funtastic activities for Japanese language with Sensei Inoue Yuki during these activities the students were very active in learning and asking questions. Level X focus Capturing meaning in simple text, oral and written simple about the family. Editing oral and written by paying attention to social functions, text structures, and linguistic elements that are correct and in context. In learning Japanese, children are taught about recognizing family members and human traits by singing so that children can understand them more easily. Students bring their family photos and have a dialogue with natives telling stories about their family.
Funtastic is very interesting and very useful event for students. During the activity the children actively asked and also answered the questions given by the native. When learning is almost finished native speakers give gifts to active students in the form of Go-Pay voucher.
